Katie Taylor could move a step closer to becoming the unified lightweight world champion in March.
The 32-year-old, who holds the WBA and IBF belts, will face Rose Volante for the WBO world title on St. Patrick's weekend in Philadelphia.
A victory for Katie (12-0) would see her hold three of the four world titles in the division, with WBC champion Delfine Persoon holding the fourth.
The 2012 Olympic gold medalist is currently ranked as the world's best pound-for-pound female boxer, and will be the favourite to extend her flawless professional record against Volante on March 15th.
Volante has won all 14 of her professional bouts to date, and has knocked out eight of her opponents.
The 36-year-old Brazilian became the WBO champion in 2017, and Taylor is braced for a tough test.

"Ever since I won my first world title as a pro my goal has been to unify the lightweight titles, so this is obviously a massive step towards that," the Bray native told Sky Sports.
"Volante is unbeaten so I'm expecting a tough fight, but that's exactly the kind of challenge I want. I think the better the opponent and the bigger the challenge, the better I will perform.
"It's a great card to be on, especially with so many Irish fighters on the bill on St Patrick's weekend in Philadelphia, so I'm sure it will be a special occasion."
In her last fight, Taylor retained her world titles with a masterful shutout win against Eva Walhstrom in Madison Square Garden.
Irish boxer Jono Carroll will feature on the same bill as Katie in his first world title fight against IBF super-featherweight champion Tevin Farmer.
Carroll (16-0-1 3KOs) has earned the opportunity after a thrilling draw with Guillaume Frenois in Sheffield last month.
John Joe Nevin (11-0) will also feature on the card in Philly, which will be available live on Sky Sports Boxing.
Michael Conlan will also fight on St. Patrick's Day.
The Belfast fighter (10-0) will square off against Ruben Garcia Hernandez (24-3) in Madison Square Garden."I'm excited and honoured to fight at my home away from home, the Mecca of boxing, Madison Square Garden, on St Patrick's Day for the third consecutive year," Conlan said.
