Football | Brighton confirm Boscagli signing

Brighton have confirmed the signing of Olivier Boscagli on a free transfer.

The 27-year-old centre back was available on a free transfer following the expiry of his contract with PSV Eindhoven.

Boscagli, who was born in Monaco but represented France at youth level, scored one goal and provided six assists in 30 appearances for the Eredivisie champions this season.

The Seagulls had a bid rejected for the defender last summer.

Boscagli, who won two Dutch league titles, two Dutch cups and two Dutch Super Cups with PSV, will join the Premier League club on July 1st when his contract expires.
