Football | Aaron Connolly starts for Brighton in Spurs clash

Ahead of the early kick-off in today's Premier League fixtures, both Spurs and home side Brighton, have announced their teams, and Graham Potter has made one change for Brighton, to the side that lost to Chelsea.

Irishman Aaron Connolly will start as part of a front three, replacing Yves Bissouma.

Connolly, an integral part of Stephen Kenny's Under-21 side who have caught the imagination in recent months, has been tipped to be called up to Mick McCarthy's senior Irish side ahead of the crucial qualifiers this month against Georgia and Switzerland.

With David McGoldrick still a doubt, an opportunity could open up for his promotion.

This will be Connolly's fifth appearance for Brighton this season, and good timing if he is to further catch the imagination as he is capable of doing, and further impress McCarthy.
