Brentford have agreed a deal to sign Caoimhín Kelleher from Liverpool.

The Republic of Ireland goalkeeper is set to move to the G-Tech Stadium for an initial £12.5 million, which could reportedly rise to £18 million with add-ons.

Kelleher is set to replace Mark Flekken, who is on the verge of an £11 million move to Bayer Leverkusen. The 26-year-old, who made 10 league appearances last season as the Reds won the Premier League, has been vocal about his desire to be a first-choice goalkeeper.

With Alisson Becker ahead of him in the pecking order at Anfield, combined with the arrival of Valencia shot stopper Giorgi Mamardashvili, a move has appeared inevitable for the Corkman.

Kelleher has won a Premier League, the UEFA Champions League, two League Cups and a UEFA Super Cup during his time on Merseyside.

Brentford enjoyed another strong Premier League campaign under Thomas Frank, finishing 10th in the English top flight.
