Football | Champions League draw revealed

Manchester United have been drawn against Paris Saint-Germain and RB Leipzig in the group stages of the Champions League.

The Red Devils face a tough draw against last year's finalists and the German club, with Istanbul Basaksehir completing Group H.

Premier League champions Liverpool have been placed in Group D alongside Dutch giants Ajax, Serie A entertainers Atalanta and Midtjylland.

Chelsea have been handed a favourable group on paper. Frank Lampard's men will meet Sevilla, Rennes and Krasnodar in Group E.

Manchester City will also fancy their chances in Group B, where they will take on Portuguese giants Porto, Greek side Olympiakos and Ligue 1's Marseille.

Reigning champions Bayern Munich, Atletico Madrid, Red Bull Salzburg and Lokomotiv Moscow will contest Group A, while Group B consists of Real Madrid, Shakhtar Donetsk, Inter Milan and Borussia Monchengladbach.

Zenit Saint Petersburg, Borussia Dortmund, Lazio and Club Brugge have been named in Group F.

Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo will lock horns in Group G, where Juventus and Barcelona are joined by Dynamo Kiev and Hungarian side Ferencvaros.

The first round of group fixtures will commence on October 19th and will run through until mid-December.
