David McGoldrick has extended his contract at Sheffield United to the summer of 2022.
The Republic of Ireland striker, who joined the Blades on a free transfer ahead of the 2018/19 season, says he is delighted to commit his long-term future to the club.
McGoldrick notched 15 goals in the Championship last season as Sheffield won promotion to the top flight, but has yet to register a Premier League goal this season.
The 32-year-old scored in the Blades' 2-1 win over Reading in the FA Cup in March, and also found the net in Ireland's 1-1 draw with Switzerland in September 2019.
"He's such an important member of the group and there is a lot more football left in David," Wilder told the club website after McGoldrick penned his extension.
"He's been outstanding since he's walked through the door."
McGoldrick joins Sheffield skipper Billy Sharp and vice-captain Ollie Norwood in committing his future to Chris Wilder's side, and says he wants to remain a part of the club's "fantastic journey".

"There's nowhere else I'd rather be spending the next two years, so I'm over the moon to sign this extension and remain a part of this fantastic journey the club is on," McGoldrick told the club website.
"As everyone has seen, this is a club that rewards and ties down those players that have contributed heavily to the success it's enjoyed so I'm delighted the gaffer sees me in the same bracket as Billy, Ollie and before that Enda and Flecky. I'd like to thank the gaffer and the board for getting this sorted so quickly and smoothly.
"This is a strange and horrible time for everyone, in all walks of life, and it's been tough. But the good news is coming back out of the club and I'm really pleased to have committed my future.
"It all starts again at Villa and that will be a tough first game back. It's going to be different to normal in a lot of respects, but we believe we're 100 per cent ready and as we've proved on numerous occasions that we're a match for anyone."
Sheffield are currently seventh in the Premier League after 28 matches, ahead of both Arsenal and Spurs, but could climb up to fifth if they win their game in hand, with Wilder's side chasing European football in a hugely impressive season.
