Derry City are heading for Europe #RTEsoccer pic.twitter.com/c1RWSqkj44 — Soccer Republic (@SoccRepublic) October 25, 2019 Derry end the season three points behind Bohemian FC and five ahead of St. Pat's, who have suffered a 4-0 defeat to champions Dundalk at Oriel Park. The Lilywhites have finished another successful campaign with goals from Dane Massey, Daniel Kelly, a Brendan Clarke own goal and Georgie Kelly. The result, combined with Derry's dominant victory, means that St. Pat's will miss out on European football next season. Elsewhere, Bohs have defeated Sligo Rovers 2-1 at Dalymount Park to cap off an excellent season. Derek Pender - playing his final game for the club - has netted the winner from the penalty spot to sign off in style. Daryl Fordyce had given the Bit O' Red the lead, before Daniel Mandroiu drew the hosts level just before the hour mark.

Jack Byrne opened the scoring with a spectacular strike, before further goals from Lee Grace and Graham Burke confirmed a comfortable victory. Waterford have finished their season with a 4-2 win over relegated UCD at the RSC. Shane Duggan, Georgie Poynton, Zachary Elbouzedi and Michael O'Connor scored the goals for the hosts, with Jack Keaney recording a brace for the Students. The win sees Waterford climb above Sligo Rovers to finish sixth in the top flight.
