England marked their 1000th international match in style.
The Three Lions ran riot against Montenegro at Wembley, scoring five goals in the first 37 minutes of the game against the hapless visitors.
England eventually won 7-0 in the capital, with Gareth Southgate's side sealing Euro 2020 qualification in emphatic fashion with a game to spare in Group A.
With Southgate naming a starting team with an average age of 23 years and 255 days, England fielded their youngest ever in a World Cup or European Championships match (finals and qualifiers included).
Captain Harry Kane played just 57 minutes at Wembley, but it was more than enough time for the Spurs striker to make England history.
The Spurs striker plundered a hat-trick within 37 minutes in London, becoming the first player to score a treble in consecutive appearances for England at Wembley Stadium, after bagging three goals against Bulgaria in the capital last time out.
Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain opened the scoring in the 11th minute for the hosts, bagging his first international goal since 2017.
Ben Chiwell floated a clever ball to the back post to pick out 'Ox' in the box, and the in-form Liverpool midfielder took one touch before rifling a low strike past Montenegro goalkeeper Milan Mijatovic into the far bottom corner.
Kane doubled England's advantage in the 18th minute, capitalizing on some hesitancy in the Montenegro box to nod home Chilwell's inviting free kick from the left flank.
Six minutes later, Kane powered his second header past Mijatovic from a pinpoint Chilwell corner to make it 3-0.
The Leicester left back's third assist of the half made him the first England defender to provide three assists in a single match since Glen Johnson against Andorra in June 2009.
Kane's second goal drew him level with Alan Shearer, Tom Finney, and Nat Lofthouse on 30 international goals for the Three Lions, but he would soon overtake his compatriots.

Rashford made it 4-0 just before the half hour mark.
The Manchester United striker finished clinically into the right bottom corner from 10 yards after Mijatovic could only parry Harry Maguire's downward header from Oxlade-Chamberlain's cross.
Kane completed his hat-trick in the 37th minute.
Trent Alexander-Arnold whipped a deflected cross into the box, which Kane controlled with one touch before sliding it into the far bottom corner from six yards.

England led 5-0 at the interval, and added two further goals to their haul in the second half.
An Alex Sofranac own goal from a Mason Mount cross gifted England their sixth goal, before Tammy Abraham registered his first international goal, converting Jadon Sancho's low cross with a sliding finish.
England have scored now 34 goals in just nine games in 2019, which marks their highest tally in a single calendar year since 1982.
Kane's hat-trick - his third for his country - means he is also now England's all-time highest scoring starting captain (24), overtaking Viv Woodward's record (23).
The 26-year-old has scored 11 goals for his country in 2019, recording England's highest tally in a calendar year since Peter Crouch notched 11 goals 13 years ago.
Kane is one goal shy of the all-time record number of goals in a calendar year for the Three Lions, which is held by Dixie Dean and George Hilsdon (12).
Given that the Tottenham striker only made his England debut in 2015, the speed at which he has overtaken players like Shearer is remarkable.
Having won the Golden Boot at last summer's World Cup in Russia, Kane has now scored 31 goals in 44 international appearances for England.
He has averaged a remarkable ratio of a goal every 77 minutes, and impressively, all bar five of those goals have come in competitive matches.
Kane has been incredibly prolific under Southgate's tutelage, registering 26 goals in 27 matches since the manager's appointment, compared with five goals in 16 appearances under Roy Hodgson.
At 26, Kane is already sixth on the list of all-time England goalscorers, and is the only active player in the top 20.
He is nine goals behind Michael Owen (40 goals in 89 caps), 13 behind Jimmy Greaves (44 goals in 57 caps) and 17 behind former Spurs striker Gary Lineker (48 goals in 80 caps).
Wayne Rooney leads the way on 53 goals from 120 caps, with Bobby Charlton sitting second on the list on 49 goals from 106 caps.
