AC Milan are reportedly interested in signing Republic of Ireland international Jeff Hendrick on a free transfer.
Burnley midfielder Hendrick's contract at Turf Moor will expire this summer, and the 28-year-old has yet to agree a new deal with the Clarets.
According to Sky Sports, Milan registered an interest in Hendrick before the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, while several other Premier League clubs are also believed to be interested in the Dubliner.
Hendrick, who has won 54 caps for the Boys in Green, has been a key midfielder for Sean Dyche's team since joining Burnley from Derby County for £10.5 million in August 2016, following his star performances at European Championships.
He has racked up 122 Premier League appearances for the Clarets, scoring nine goals and registering five assists.
Hendrick has scored twice in 24 appearances in the 2019/20 season, and has assisted two goals, including Robbie Brady's first strike in two years against Manchester City in December.
Burnley are 10th in the Premier League on 39 points after 30 matches, just one point behind Arsenal (who have a game in hand), two behind Spurs, and just five off Manchester United in fifth.
Italian giants AC Milan are currently seventh in Serie A after 26 matches, three points off sixth-placed Napoli, and 27 points behind leaders Juventus.
