The 30-year wait is over.
Liverpool have won the Premier League at last.
The Reds have been confirmed as the 2019/20 Premier League champions - winning their 19th league title overall - after Manchester City's 2-1 defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Jurgen Klopp's side have collected 86 points from 31 league matches this season, suffering just one defeat, and 15 points out of their remaining 21 available would see them eclipse City's record haul of 100 points.
Liverpool have now won the Premier League, the Champions League, the Super Cup and the Club World Cup in a staggeringly successful 12-month period.
Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson, who watched City's defeat with his teammates, told Sky Sports he was overwhelmed to be crowned champions.
"I didn't want to talk about it until this moment so it's amazing to finally get over the line," the 30-year-old England international said.
"I'm so happy for all the boys, the fans, the whole club, the city. I'm a little bit overwhelmed right now, it's an amazing feeling and I'm just so proud of what we've achieved."

The Merseyside club's resounding 4-0 win over Crystal Palace at Anfield on Wednesday meant that City had to defeat Chelsea in London 24 hours later to maintain the mathematical possibility of retaining their title.

Liverpool's first Premier League title also sees Klopp become the first German manager in history to win the English top flight.
"I have no words," he told Sky Sports after the Reds' title was confirmed.
"It is unbelievable, much more than I thought was possible. Becoming champions with this club is absolutely incredible. This is for Kenny (Dalglish), for Stevie (Gerrard) - everyone!"
The club's tally of 19 league titles can only be bettered by Manchester United (20).
