Republic of Ireland international Jayson Molumby has joined Preston on a season-long loan from Brighton.
Molumby, who has won five senior caps for the Boys in Green, could make his Preston debut against Wycome Wanderers in the FA Cup this weekend.
The 21-year-old midfielder will link up with international teammates Sean Maguire and Alan Browne at the Championship club.
"I am really happy to be here. I spoke to the gaffer and the Irish boys here who I know quite well and it was a no-brainer in the end and I am looking forward to getting started," Molumby said.
"Seani (Maguire) and Alan (Browne) speak very highly of the club and then the gaffer spoke to me and was the same and in the end I just wanted to get it done. I am really excited to get going and I just want to play some games and help the team."
Molumby, who will wear the number 21 jersey at Preston, made 40 appearances while on loan at Milwall last season.
Alex Neil's side are currently 12th in the Championship after 12 points, and sit five points adrift of the play-off places.
