Having splashed out €40M on teenage striker Fabio Silva, Wolves have added a significant signing following Barcelona and Portugal full-back Nelson Semedo's transfer from the Nou Camp.
The defender is seen as a natural successor to Matt Doherty, the Irish international having joined Tottenham Hotspur at the end of last month on a four-year deal.
New Barcelona manager Ronald Koeman has organised something of a clear-out since his arrival and along with the likes of Arturo Vidal and Luiz Suarez finding themselves frozen out.

26-year-old Semedo signs on a three-year deal with an option to extend his contract until 2025, after three years with Barcelona. He has played 13 times at international level with Portugal.
Semedo told the official Wolves website that he is: "very excited to be here. It’s a very good team. To play in the Premier League is a dream from me too. So, I’m very excited to begin, to meet my teammates and start training.
"I chose Wolves because it’s a very good team that plays very good football. Last year they did a very good season and it’s a very important team in England, in also Europe. I hope this year we can do very good things.
"Coach Nuno is a very good coach. He did very good things here in Wolves, and in other teams too. For sure I’m going to learn a lot from him."
