Jack O'Connor says Kerry's All-Ireland Senior Football Championship final win over Donegal on Sunday could be his "last hurrah" as the Kingdom's manager.

O'Connor led Kerry to the Sam Maguire for the fifth time in his career as the Munster county defeated Donegal by 1-26 to 0-19 at Croke Park.

Sunday's victory saw Kerry complete the treble for the third time under O'Connor's guidance, adding to the trio of titles in 2004 and 2022 respectively after the Kingdom won the Division 1 and Munster titles earlier this year.

"I'm a long time at it, and I might be passing the baton onto somebody else," O'Connor said after the game.

He made similar comments in his post-match press conference.

"I think I went on record earlier in the year that it would probably be my last hurrah.

"I don't want to be telling you lads [the media] before I tell anyone else, there are more important people down the corridor."
