Eamonn O'Hara and Dessie Sloyan have been named as the senior Sligo footballers' joint managers on a three-year term.
The duo, who were ratified at a county board meeting on Monday, replace Tony McEntee, who led the Connacht county for five years. Donegal's Eamon McGee joins as a selector, with Con O'Meara named as head coach. Sean Boyle will continue his role as strength and conditioning coach.
Former All-Star O'Hara currently manages Roscommon club Boyle after winning five consecutive county titles with his home club Tourlestrane, as well as two titles with Leitrim club Mohill.
Sloyan also has an impressive resume after transitioning from the pitch to the dugout, leading Sligo U20s to the Connacht title in 2022, as well as managing his local club Easkey. Sloyan has also been part of the coaching teams with Longford senior panel and Knockmore (Mayo), respectively. Sloyan was also a selector for the Yeats County under Kevin Walsh from 2009 to 2011.
Sligo were beaten by Fermanagh in the Tailteann Cup quarter-final earlier this year.
Elsewhere, Tom Hennessy has been appointed to manage the Sligo senior hurlers on a two-year contract.
