One change to Celtic side for Livingston fixture

Celtic travel to the Almondvale Stadium at lunchtime to face Livingston in a game that Neil Lennon hope will see his side consolidate their position at the top of the Scottish Premiership.

Arch rivals and the side closest to them in the standings, Rangers, have a home game against Hamilton Academical, and with only a point separating the sides, Lennon knows that three points is a must if they are to keep the pressure on Steven Gerrard's side to remain in touch.

Lennon has made just one change to the side that defeated CFR Cluj in the Europa League during the week, with Moritz Bauer replacing Hatem Elhamem at full back.

Lennon will be hoping to see his side go into this weeks international break unbeaten in 12 matches.

Speaking to the clubs website this week, the former midfielder was full of priase for his side in the aftermath of the 2-0 win over Cluj.

“The players have just got more familiar with each.

"They’ve played more games with each other and there was obviously, maybe in the back of their minds, a little bit of retribution for the defeat.

“You want to make Celtic Park a really difficult place for opposition teams to come, and the players are doing that.

“What they got on Thursday night was a real experience of what it can really be like in terms of atmosphere and authenticity of a big stadium and the rawness in the air. You can almost smell the big-game atmosphere and they responded to that very well."

Lennon will be hoping that the teams momentum continues in this afternnons game.

CELTIC: Forster, Bauer, Jullien, Ajer, Bolingoli; Brown, McGregor, Forrest, Elyounoussi, Christie, Edouard. Subs: Gordon, Elhamed, Hayes, Bitton, Ntcham, Sinclair, Bayo
