Jack Byrne produced a midfield masterclass for Shamrock Rovers against Waterford United at Tallaght Stadium.
The Hoops thrashed the visitors 6-1 in Dublin, with six different players getting on the scoresheet for Stephen Bradley's league leaders.
Republic of Ireland international Byrne was at the heart of Rovers' performance, scoring one and assisting three of the hosts' goals.
After assisting Rovers' second and third goals with two precise corner kicks in the space of two minutes late in the first half, Byrne added the Dublin club's fourth goal in the 49th minute.
The classy midfielder applied a clinical left-footed finish into the far bottom corner after being picked out by Ronan Finn's low cross at the back post.
Byrne saved his best for last, producing a contender for assist of the season for Rovers' sixth goal in the 90th minute.
Collecting the ball just outside his own box, Byrne drove forward determinedly.
Leaving one trailing Waterford player in his wake, the Dubliner danced past another on the halfway line and carried the ball into the opposition half.
Sucking in two more Waterford players, Byrne slipped an inch-perfect pass through to Dean Williams, allowing the youngster to coolly slot the ball between Brian Murphys legs for his first league goal of the season.
