GAA | Donegal cruise past Cavan in Ulster final

Jamie Brennan's long run ends in a goal. Donegal are on the verge of winning the Ulster Football Championship. Highlights on @rte2 on The Sunday Game from 9:30pm pic.twitter.com/Z2AjAAevW8 — The Sunday Game (@TheSundayGame) June 23, 2019 Madden's goal gave Cavan hope; the substitute fisting the ball home after great work from fellow sub Cian Mackey. McGee responded with a fisted point for Donegal, with McVeety and Oisín Gallen exchanging points soon afterwards. Donegal led by 1-23 to 1-16 when Cavan plundered their second goal in stoppage time. Moynagh found Murray with an excellent long pass, and he duly found the back of the net. Murphy still had time to tap over a free for Donegal, who retained their crown with relative comfort. On current evidence, Bonner's men are possibly the biggest threat to Dublin's drive-for-five.
