GAA | Monaghan to face Fermanagh in qualifiers

Monaghan have drawn Fermanagh in the first round of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship qualifiers.

The Ulster rivals will meet in a repeat of last year's provincial semi-final - which Fermanagh won in dramatic style - with the match set to take place in Monaghan.

Monaghan suffered a surprise defeat to Cavan last week, while Fermanagh lost to Ulster champions Donegal yesterday.

Westmeath - who lost to Laois on Sunday - will take on Waterford at home, and the losers of the Kildare v Longford replay face a trip to Carlow.

Louth will host Antrim after each county suffered heavy defeats to Dublin and Tyrone respectively on Saturday.

Elsewhere, Down will travel to Tipperary, Leitrim will welcome Wicklow to Connacht, and London will make the journey across the sea to face Offaly.

Finally, Wexford will clash with Derry in Leinster.

The fixtures will be played on the weekend of June 8/9, with times, venues, and dates to be confirmed tomorrow.

All-Ireland SFC qualifier draw:

Louth v Antrim

Tipperary v Down

Leitrim v Wicklow

Wexford v Derry

Offaly v London

Monaghan v Fermanagh

Carlow v Kildare/Longford

Westmeath v Waterford
