GAA | Tipperary boosted by Quinlivan return

The Tipperary footballers have been given a huge boost by the return of Michael Quinlivan.

Clonmels Commerical forward Quinlivan, who won an All-Star for his performances in 2016, has re-joined the Tipp squad alongside Liam Casey, Colin English and Paudie Feehan, according to RTÉ Sport.

The 27-year-old had originally planned to step away from inter-county football in order to travel but is now set to link up with David Power's squad when training resumes next month.

All-Ireland under-21 hurling winners English and Feehan, and UCD's Sigerson Cup winner Casey will also boost the Premier County's squad for 2020.

Tipperary, who are in Division 3 of the Allianz National League, are due to face Clare in the quarter-final of the Munster Senior Football Championship.
