Munster sign Jed Holloway on short-term deal

Jed Holloway has signed for Munster on a short-term contract.

Subject to a work permit, the 26-year-old will act as cover as Tadhg Beirne and Jean Kleyn prepare to board the plane for Japan, with both players having been confirmed as part of Joe Schmidt’s final squad for this months World Cup.

Despite having signed a 2-year deal to remain in Australia, the lock, who plays for Waratah in Australia’s Super Rugby, based in New South Wales, has been permitted to make the sojourn to northern hemisphere rugby.
