40 seconds.
That's how long it took Conor McGregor to stop Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone in the Dubliner's first UFC fight in 15 months.
The referee interceded less than one minute into the UFC 246 headline event, with McGregor pummeling Cerrone mercilessly on the canvas.
'The Notorious' missed with a left hook seconds after the opening bell, before the fighters collided in a clinch.
McGregor used his left shoulder cleverly to attack Cerrone's exposed face, before catching the Texan with a devastating kick to the face.
The Irishman followed up instantly with a relentless barrage of punches which sent Cerrone crashing to the canvas.
McGregor continued to rain down punches on the grounded American until the referee intervened to bring the fight to an end at the T-Mobile Arena.
McGregor, 31, had not fought since losing to Khabib Nurmagomedov in October 2018.
"I've etched my name in history one more time, for the Irish people and for my ma back home," he said.
